Alesahne Beach Hotel

Staff was fabulous and went the extra mile to book car service for the four of us from the airport as we were arriving late (22:30) at night. Our driver was helpful with giving info about the island, things to see/do, and how to get around as well. Breakfast was excellent. We were early in the season, so many restaurants weren't open yet, but there was plenty available to choose from, and we could see that it would be a lively place in the next month or so. A much more laid back and affordable experience from Fira/Oia, which are beautiful, but far more expensive and touristy.

My unescorted tour with Gate 1 placed us at this hotel and I couldn't have been more pleased. It was located right on the beach with views of the Aegean Sea, complete with beach lounges, umbrellas, and a table area that was serviced by the hotel staff. I only ate breakfast buffet there and it was very European with eggs, meats, cheeses, veggies, and breads and the best yogurt. The staff were always smiling and were very attentive. I was impressed that I could get an organic white Greek wine for only $3.5 euros. Rooms are rather small and the bathroom even smaller....and as everyone mentioned, the shower leaves much to be desired as to size. But we made it work. What I also loved about the hotel was that it was on a promenade along the ocean and you could walk for quite a long way in either direction to other taverns, restaurants, and check out the other beautiful hotels. You can tell the owner takes great pride in his place, and he was seen daily chatting with others or keeping the place spotless. Loved my three days there and highly recommend. Show less

Location was amazing right opposite the beach. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Available constantly to take care of guests - amazing and I will try to return.

The pool area was so lovely, the breakfast was fabulous as well. Stunning location, and the sun beds on the beach were fabulous for guests to lay about on for the day!

The receptionist lady was very kind and friendly. The guy from the bar was so kind to provide us with hot water. The hotel is very clean. Few steps from the beach and restaurants. Breakfast is very good, I loved that they had baklava. We had to leave very early in the morning and they let us take with us a breakfast box.

My husband and I stayed here for week in July. A relatively small hotel which just added to its charm. It had a relaxed feel which was just what we needed. Situated right on the beach, eating breakfast and our evening meals overlooking the sea was outstanding. Especially the night of the lunar eclipse. Wow... The evening meal was limited to 2 choices but very tasty and well presented. The staff were very welcoming, attentive and friendly. The pool area was immaculate albeit small with only 8 sunloungers but honestly that made it even better. The beach was pebbly but nothing a pair of water shoes couldnt overcome (tip take water shoes). Another tip-there are no exchange places in Kamari only ATMs. All in all one of the best hotels, resorts and islands I have ever been to. Amazing. Thank you to all the staff of the Alesarne Beach Hotel for treating us as friends and making our stay so wonderful. Hopefully see you again soon.
